Study Abroad Opportunities
Manhattan University encourages students to enhance their education through credit-earning Study Abroad programs. In order to participate, a student must normally have a minimum cumulative grade point index of 2.75. Students generally enroll in a semester abroad either in their sophomore or junior year, and occasionally in the first semester of senior year. Study Abroad for the second semester of senior year is discouraged as it may interfere with graduating on time.
The University sponsors its own full-semester programs and exchange opportunities in a variety of countries around the world, including through the global Lasallian network of universities and universities. Various short-term, faculty led programs are also available during January intersession and the summer sessions. Participation in all foreign study programs must be approved by the student's academic advisor of the School in which the student is enrolled as well as by the Office of Study Abroad. Further information is available through the Office of Study Abroad.
